What Makes Storia Coffee Different?
We work with 2 importers who each have relationships with the farmers who grow the beans we offer. They pay the farmers fairly & incentivize them to reinvest in their farms to keep improving not only the quality of the beans, but the farmer’s quality of life. The importers often have boots on the ground during the all important picking process to ensure only the ripest coffee cherries are picked – and they have stringent sorting processes to ensure consistency.
Our Roasting Process
Our coffee is small batch roasted right here in the front window of our bakery/coffee shop. We roast at least once a week to keep our offerings super fresh. From delicate light roast Ethiopia to super dark and smoky Sumatra, we fine tune the roast profile of every bean with many cuppings to extract the maximum amount of flavor.
